jo, ich hab da in der mba july 02 nen article über das m1-sl und was die einstellungen fürn 5th betrifft...
ich zitier da mal... hrm,hrm.:
"the damping settings and spring rates of our test bikes are exactly the same as chris kovarik`s personal m1.the manitou fork had medium stiff springs, with the rebound dial four clicks out and the compression knob seven clicks out.
The 5th element shock was tuned to the progressive suspension furnishes with the m1,which worked perfectly for three out of four test riders.we all weighed in between 140 and 160 pounds.with the m1`s 400-pound titan spring,135 psi in the shock coused the m1 to settle about a third of the way into its stroke.this held true for the entire group with only minimal preload adjustments.
in case you are courious, the other four of "fifth" element`s adjustements were:low speed rebound, two turns out;volume adjustment dial(in the piggyback reservoir),4.5 turns out;ending stroke clicker two turns out;ending stroke clicker, backed out to full fast;and the spring preload was screwed in a quarter inch. ...
